A small B&B with a homely feel and yet very clean and modern. The kitchen facilities are excellent and being able to help yourself to the food any time is very handy for snacks and for breakfast. It is well located near the Van Gogh museum and the departure point for several canal cruises as well as restaurants and shops. Ieke is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Free wi-fi is an added bonus. I would really recommend staying here.
There was a strange buzzing noise in my room which may have been from the exhaust fan which runs 24/7 but it was hard to tell. It was like the sound of a fridge motor except higher pitched and constant. I was able to put up with it for a night and slept using ear-plugs because I'm sensitive to that sort of noise, but if I'd been staying longer I would have wanted to change rooms.
Very clean lovely shower bed was comfortable there were no time restraints on the breakfast available to help yourself all day if you wanted the location is superb not in the hustle and bustle of the town but just a short walk to get to owner was helpfull and friendly this was our first visit to amsterdan and will not be the last so would highly recommends this bed and breakfast and would stay there again
me and my husband spent 3 days at the flynt , we had a great time would defenatley stay again
it was very clean and tidy the fridge was always stocked with snacks, which you could have at anytime
Great location in the city centre. The bedroom was spacious for Amsterdam (usually the bedrooms are small and expensive) and the bathroom was great. Breakfast was plentiful and you can help yourself to food from the fridge at any time. The B&B was spotless, Ieke is very friendly and the set-up very relaxed. We enjoyed it a lot and would certainly return.
Staff was kind and I could drop-off my baggage in the morning. The owner helped me by telling where to go and see.
The dining space for breakfast is very small and uncomfortable. It is actually a corner of a hallway. There is one table and four chairs, but the space is so narrow that actually, for two people at most.
Location, size of the room, bed and pillows were very comf. Ieke is very helpfull host.I loved making breakfast myself-there was fridge full of everything, toster, fresh bread,coffee/tea, pancakes.
Heating was completely off all night. After party it was not nice to come back to such a cold room.
Ieke was an amazing host, she is so chilled and very helpful. The b&b is spotless, the rooms are lovely with en-suite bathrooms. There is a real family feel to the place, it's more like staying in a friend's house than a hotel. The location is great, the Leidseplein is a few minutes walk away and the tram runs on the next street so it's very easy to get around. All in all a great experience.
Very good contact with Ieke , the owner ! Nice place to visit Amsterdam and nice recommandation to do the best in this great city.
The space for breakfast is really so tiny... ;-)))
The B&B was well located and the owner was very friendly. It was clean and modern and the bathroom in particular was well appointed.
There was only really space for two people to eat breakfast at a time. This could be a problem if all the guests wanted to eat at the same time.
Simply perfect - better than we could ever have imagined.
The staff of the hotel. The couple that owns the hotel are very nice and most helpfull.
I was not told that I should pay for the parking and that was a little expensive. They charged me 10,00 euros extra, but...........
The staff was very polite and friendly
Furniture was too basic. We did not like the fact that we had to make the breakfast ourselves. Also there was a cat running around in the breakfast area. There was no actual breakfast room but just a corridor between the rooms which was really small. The rooms were very clean but the price was too expensive for the value offered.
The hotel was small (3 rooms). Very friendly hotel owner who gave us so many useful tips on Amsterdam and also lent us bikes. The room was nice and quiet with a comfortable bed and a big and new bathroom.
We liked everything. Easy walk from Leidseplain ..number 1 and 2 trams nearby. Was very nice to have access to a refrigerator and kitchenette as I was traveling with a teen who is a big eater. He loved having a computer available. We thank you Fricke for a lovely stay. go holland !! (World Cup )
Room was just as pictured on website, very clean and nicely furnished. Computer access and fully stocked kitchen very convenient. Location just outside of Leidseplein shopping area, and quiet at night. Will book here in the future.
